| A native of Omaha, NE, REGINALD L. BARNES is an "actor's actor" dealing in Theatre, Film and Television--as well as a host/emcee and part-time funnyman. He is currently featured Off-Broadway in Layon Gray's award winning play "BLACK ANGELS OVER TUSKEGEE" and a recurring featured actor with the hugely popular YouTube parody group "KEY OF AWESOME"--where he has taken spoofs of the likes of Kanye West, Rick Ross and Apl.De.Ap. of the Black Eyed Peas to another level.. Other credits include: "DIE LAUGHING", "A SOLDIERS' PLAY" ,"THE WIZ" , "MEDEA", "GODSPELL", "FENCES" and "FREDDIE'S BIG DEAL". He can also be seen in the films "THE SKELEPTICA EFFECT" , "READ ON" , "INHIBITIONS" and "TALES FROM THE PLAYERS' MANUAL, VOL. 1" --which made waves around the festival circuit and are available thru indie retailers online. In 2002, Reginald was a contestant and winner on NBC's "THE WEAKEST LINK" syndicated game show..pocketing a cool $5300--back when he sported an afro! Reginald is CEO of CONTROVERSY?! PRODUCTIONS, specializing in his acting career, public relations, image branding and event planning/promotions. An "up and comer" but a trailblazer in his own right, this BUSY man is campaigning to join the cast of his favorite show.. ABC's "MODERN FAMILY" and currently resides in Brooklyn, NY... But his heart belongs to the lights of Manhattan and Hollywood. |
